Ordering and files
How do I place an order
Choose a product, select your options and quantity, add it to your cart, and check out. After checkout, email your print-ready file to orders@memorialprintingco.com with your order number in the subject line. We review your file before it goes to press and contact you if it needs changes.
Can I design my funeral program online
Yes. Our online builder lets you design a bifold funeral program from a template, add your text and photos, and creates a print-ready PDF for you. Attach that PDF when you email us after checkout. Trifold programs, booklets, prayer cards, and posters are ordered by uploading your own print-ready file.
What file format and size do I need
Funeral programs and booklets: PDF preferred, 300 DPI, CMYK color, 0.125" bleed on all sides, with fonts embedded. Prayer cards: PDF at 300 DPI, 2.75×4.5" including bleed. Paper posters and foam board displays: PDF or JPG, at least 150 DPI at final size. Each product page lists the exact file requirements, such as the bifold and trifold programs.
Do you check my file before printing
We review every file for print readiness and may contact you about problems such as low resolution, missing bleed, or an unsupported format. If your file needs significant formatting changes to print correctly, we will send you a proof to approve before printing. This is not a proofread. We do not check spelling, names, dates, or facts, so please review your content carefully before you send your file. We print exactly what you submit.
Can I change or cancel my order after I place it
Email orders@memorialprintingco.com right away with your order number. Orders move into production quickly, so we may not be able to make changes once printing has started. Because every order is custom printed, all sales are final.
What is the minimum order
Funeral programs, booklets, and prayer cards start at 25. Prayer cards are sold in set quantities of 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1,000. Paper posters and foam board displays can be ordered one at a time.
Are my photos and files private
Text and photos you enter in the online builder are processed in your browser and are not sent to us unless you email us your file. Files you email us are used only to produce your order. See our Privacy Policy.
Products and paper
What sizes and formats do you offer
- Bifold programs: 5.5×8.5" finished, four panels, printed on an 8.5×11" sheet folded in half.
- Trifold programs: six panels on an 8.5×11" flat sheet, 3.67×8.5" per panel.
- Booklets: saddle-stitched in 5.5×8.5" or 8.5×11", with 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, or 32 pages.
- Prayer cards: 2.5×4.25" finished, full color on both sides.
- Paper posters: five sizes from 12×24" to 36×48".
- Foam board displays: five sizes from 11×17" to 36×48" on 3/16" foam board.
What is the difference between a bifold, a trifold, and a booklet
A bifold is a single sheet folded in half with four panels: a cover, two inside panels, and a back. A trifold is a single sheet folded in three with six panels, which gives you more room for photos and the order of service. A booklet is saddle-stitched with a stapled spine and 8 to 32 pages, which suits longer tributes and many photographs.
What paper do you print on
Funeral programs and booklets are printed on coated stock, with 80# and 100# text and cover options listed on each product page. Prayer cards are printed on 100# cover stock with a gloss or matte finish. Paper posters are printed on premium HP photo paper. Foam board displays are printed and mounted to 3/16" white foam board.
Should I choose a paper poster or a foam board
Paper posters are lightweight, ship rolled in a tube, and are ideal for framing or mounting. Foam board displays are rigid and stand on an easel without framing. Easels are not included.
What if my photo is low resolution
Use the highest-resolution version you have. For programs, booklets, and prayer cards, photos should be about 300 DPI at the size they will print. If we think a photo will print poorly, we will contact you before printing.
